May 16th, Suichang county signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Huaneng Zhejiang clean energy branch, who will develop a multi energy complementarily integrated clean energy project with total installed capacity of 600 thousand KW class solar energy storage.
According to the preliminary investigation of the multi energy complementarily integrated clean energy project in Suichang by the investor, the proposed mining area can meet the technical requirements for storage of 600 thousand KW air storage for the power station and gained a total investment of about 6 billion yuan. The project mainly plans to develop air storage power stations, photovoltaic power plants, wind power stations and other basic platform. It will be planned according to the ‘wind, photovoltaic and air storage’ primary model and promoted under the guidance of the ‘multi-point optimization’ principle, to guarantee the overall effect of wind power, photovoltaic power and air storage. In implementing the projects, the needs of planning, transportation, farming, tourism, industrial agglomeration and radiation should be fully considered, in order to maximize the overall effect of the project.
The main investor of this project is Huaneng International Power Limited by Share Ltdthe, the subsidiary wholly-owned company of Huaneng Group Corporation. It is one of the the largest listed power generation companies in China, listed in Hongkong, New York and Shanghai. The Zhejiang branch of Huaneng clean energy company is the clean energy branch of Huaneng International Power Limited by Share Ltdthe in Zhejiang, which is managed by Zhejiang branch of Huaneng company and aims to develop, construct and operate the clean energy projects of Huaneng in Zhejiang, such as wind power, photovoltaic and hydropower.
