The other day, a cyber-security lecture themed ‘Cyber-Security Enters the Campus and Establishes the New Trend’ was given in the multi-media classroom of Dagnagtou primary school.
Faced with 120 primary school students, Liu Jie, case leader of the Network Police Detachment of Lishui Municipal Public Security Bureau, gave a clear visual introduction on the importance of cyber-security from multiple aspects: cyber-awareness, cyber-security, cyber-threat and counter measures, etc.. He also explained the importance through detailed and abundant case analysis and on-site Q&A, especially on a variety of cyber-fraud. He aimed to remind the children to keep their vigilance and self-protection in the virtual world.
‘With the development of the informational era, everyone’ s life is concerned with cyber-security. Opening cyber lectures in campus can help children learn more about cyber-security and improve their cyber-security awareness. Children should also strive to be the family protector of cyber-security, actively remind their family to pay attention to cyber-security in order to avoid cyber tricks, and protect more people with their own ability.’, said Pan Bi, director of Municipal Financial Office and president of Municipal Intellectuals Association.
Teachers attending the lecture also expressed that the content of the lecture was very practical, which could not only improve children’s awareness and ability in identifying and avoiding frauds, but could also highlight the publicity effect to remind their family to pay attention to cyber security. It effectively encouraged the children to make their own contribution in protecting cyber-security. (United Front Department of Municipal Party Committee)
