Ministry of Ecological Environment Issued National Air Quality Report from January to July, 2018, and Lishui Ranked 6th in the Nation

  On August 14th, the Ministry of Ecological Environment released the national air quality report from January to July, 2018. According to the report, Lishui ranked 6th among 169 cities nationwide. The top 20 cities with relatively good air quality are: Haikou, Huangshan, Lhasa, Zhoushan, Shenzhen, Lishui,xiamen, Zhuhai, Huizhou, Zhongshan, Fuzhou, Guiyang, Taizhou, Xianning, Kunming, Quzhou, Jiangmen, Nanning, Dalian and Yiyang. 

  In the air quality report of July 2018 released at the same time, Lishui ranked 8th among 169 cities in the country. The top 20 cities with relatively good air quality are: Haikou, Zhuhai, Huangshan, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Zhoushan, Lhasa, Lishui, Ya'an, Qingdao, Dalian, Neijiang, Xianning, taizhou, Huizhou, Guiyang, Nanning, Deyang, Jiangmen and Mianyang. 

  From January to July, the average concentration of PM2.5 in Lishui urban area was 29 micrograms per cubic meter, ranking 2nd in the whole province with a year-on-year decrease of 2 micrograms per cubic meter. The good rate of AQI was 94.3%, ranking 1st in the province and leveled with last year. In July, the comprehensive index of the air quality in our city was 2.26, ranking the second in the province; the average concentration of PM2.5 was 15 micrograms/cubic meters, ranking the first in the province, which decreased 5 micrograms/cubic meters compared to the same period of time in last year; the excellent rate of AQI was 96.8%, ranking the third in the province, which increased 6.5 percentage points compared to the same period of time in last year. 

  From January to July, the air quality of all the counties (cities and districts) in Lishui reached the second-class national standards, with the comprehensive indices of air quality ranging from 2.45 to3.3; the lowest was Longquan with 2.45, and the highest was Qingtian with 3.3. The air quality of Longquan, Yunhe, Qingyuan and Suichang counties and cities entered the top ten in the province. AQI excellence rate ranged from 94.3% to 99.1%; the highest was Longquan City with 99.1% and the lowest was Lishui City Downtown with 94.3% and the average was 97.8%. Among them, the AQI excellence rate of Suichang County, Songyang County and Jingning County increased compared to the last year and Suichang County increased 5.5 percentage and was the country with the largest increase; the average concentration of PM2.5 ranged between 23 to 29 microgram/cubic meter and the average value was 27 microgram/cubic meter; the lowest is Longquan City with 23 micrograms / cubic meters and the highest is Lishui City Downtown, Songyang County and Qingtian County, with 31 micrograms / cubic meters; The index of Qingyuan County increased compared to the last year and the index of Longquan City was the same as last year while the indices of other seven cities decreased compared to last year.
