With the Convenience Provided by ‘One Belt and One Road’, Lishui Cultural Products are Displayed in the Ancient City Xi’an

  On September 7th, ‘The 9th China Western Cultural Industry Expo’ was opened in Xi’an, hundreds of works of art and literary creation are displayed in the expo, including ‘The Three Treasures in Lishui’ (Longquan Celadon, Longquan Sword, Qingtian Stone Carving), Barbizon Oil Painting, Yunhe Wooden Toy, Songyang Tea Art, Shezu Costume, Qingyuan Pencil, etc. Wang Yongkang, the member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee and the former Secretary of the Lishui Municipal Party Committee, visited the Lishui Exhibition Area and gave suggestions. Lv Cailiu, the Vice Mayor and Wu Yuyu, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government and Ren Hangao, the Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee went to exhibition to supervise the exhibition work. 

  The theme of the exhibition is "Promoting the Spirit of Silk Road, Uniting the Industrial Power". The exhibition covers 55,000 square meters and set up 5 regular exhibitions and a special exhibition, focusing on the key industries. Over 800 government delegations from overseas, and western and central and eastern regions of China have participated in the exhibition. 

  With the flowing water in Ou River and the beautiful and graceful mountains, the Lishui exhibition, which perfectly combined Ou River landscape and the black tile and yellow walls, attracts exhibitors and tourists from all over the country as soon as it showed up. Although it is the first time of Lishui to participate in the Western Culture Exhibition, the "three treasures of Lishui" has long been well known throughout the country. 

  "In order to let people all over the country know more about Longquan celadon, I brought two of my masterpieces, Brothers Mixed Three Ring Bottle and Blue Glazed Water Bowl," seeing that everyone showed great interest in Lishui art, Xu Chaoxing, a master of Chinese arts and crafts and an inheritor of Longquan celadon, the national heritage, was very happy:"Celadon is the most popular artwork on the ancient Silk Road. This time we take Longquan celadon to Xi'an for exhibition, which is the embodiment of Lishui's active integration into The Belt and Road Initiative. 

  Chen Xiandi, the vice chairman of Qingtian Zhengtong Stone Carving Culture Development Co., Ltd., and his team brought 10 pieces of stone carvings made by Chinese masters of Arts and crafts as well as several pieces of works by provincial masters of crafts to the exhibition. "We drove 22 hours from Lishui to Xi'an just, and aim to let the people of the whole country see how exquisite our Qingtian stone carving craft is." Seeing the enthusiasm of the masses, Chen Xiandi said that it deserved all the hard work. 

  In recent years, our city focused on the goal of building hundreds of billions of cultural industries, and has further firmly regarded cultural industry as an important industry to open the "two mountains" channel. The added-value of the cultural industry in the whole city increased from 6.241 billion yuan in 2015 to 7.661 billion yuan in 2016, ranking the first in the province continuously; the added-value of the cultural industry accounted for 6.33% of GDP in 2016, rising from 5.66% in 2015, ranking the third place in the province, which used to rank the last place in the province; and the cultural development index of the whole city ranked the second in the province for many years, only after Hangzhou. From January to July this year, the growth rate of cultural manufacturing industry and cultural service industry reached 11.5% and 10.8% respectively.
