From September 13 to 17, the Fifth China Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition was held in Shun Geng International Convention and Exhibition Center, Jinan City, Shandong Province. Qingtian stone sculpture, Longquan celadon traditional firing techniques and Liandu Yueyue brewing techniques participated in the exhibition. The three Intangible Cultural Heritage projects have unique geographical characteristics, and in front of each booth there were crowds surging and they received a lot of praises from the audience.
Making pottery, papermaking, making tea and Suzhou embroidery... More than 100 intangible cultural heritage inheritors from Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Henan and other parts of the country showed off their unique skills at the Fifth China Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition. A total of 209 national intangible cultural heritage representative projects, 96 national representative successors, 13 provincial representative projects, 46 representative successors attended the exhibition.
At the Qingtian stone carving booth, Zhang Aiguang, a national representative inheritor, carved and polished the stone with traditional tools, attracting numerous visitors to stop and watch. The representative inheritors of Longquan celadon firing techniques also brought his own masterpieces, and Longquan celadon's warm color and smooth sculpture also won the praise of the audience. On the booth of Liandu Yuyue making technology, the free gift of derivative products by the inheritors is very popular among audience.
The China Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition is one of the two national festivals for the protection of intangible cultural heritage in China, namely the Western Section (Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival) and the Eastern Section. It is an important event to fully demonstrate the fruitful achievements of the protection of intangible cultural heritage in China and it is also an important platform to guide the direction of the protection of intangible cultural Heritage in China.
