On October 26th, the first ‘Chinese Opera into the Campus’ performance of excellent plays in lishui was put on stage in Lishui grand theatre.
The event was organized by Municipal Culture, Advertising & Publishing Bureau, Municipal Education Bureau, Municipal Wuju Opera promotion association, Municipal cultural center, Lishui grand theater management office, and Lishui Baoli Grand Theater Management Co, Ltd. Thirteen traditional excellent plays including Wuju, Kunqu Opera, Yue Opera and Baoshan Flower Drum Opera were selected from primary and secondary schools throughout the city to participate in the performance.
In recent years, the Municipal Education Bureau and Municipal Culture, Advertising & Publishing Bureau have jointly issued a number of cultural heritage teaching bases, the primary and secondary school classroom as an inheritance and development of China's excellent traditional culture important positions, and the implementation of ‘learning starts from the baby’, the concept for cultural heritage protection. At present, Jinyun county alone has more than 60 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens to carry out the ‘Wuju into the campus’ activity, the county’s ‘opera into the campus’ to achieve full coverage. More than 10 schools in Liandu, Suichang and other places have launched the ‘opera into the campus’ activity. Also, most of the little actors who participated in this exhibition performance came from the teaching base of intangible cultural heritage. Lishui Municipal Grand Theater is the top stage in Lishui City. Being able to perform on this stage to study Chinese excellent traditional opera, and adhering to the inheritance of chinese traditional culture, are the greatest encouragement and affirmation.
The professional team of Lishui cultural center gave patient guidance and professional arrangement to the selected programs, and the little actors presented the a visual feast with the combination of the ‘ancient’ and the new, the traditional singing was interpreted by the children’s immature voice with unique charm, making the audience applaud again and again.
